It is my role to help you to make progress toward your goals in a way that works for you. Outdoor Activity Based Therapy

If you’re considering individual therapy but an office setting doesn’t seem like the best fit for you, try outdoor activity based therapy. This is a great way to explore yourself and your thinking in a new way. It can also be a way to learn to integrate skills discussed in session in a practical manner. I guide clients every step of the way. Activities include walking, hiking, and Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP). I have over 20 years of outdoor coaching, guiding and instruction experience. I maintain a Level 2 C SUP instructor certification and a Level 4 Whitewater Kayak instructor certification through the American Canoe Association. I also maintain Wilderness First Responder (WFR) and CPR training. Contact me today to learn more about outdoor therapy sessions.

A Bit About Therapy

Personalized Attention for All Your Needs

I use a variety of evidence based counseling methods to facilitate self-reflection and insight into ways clients can adopt changes that best suit their needs. Therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from the therapist, patient and/or caretaker alike. In the end, making small changes to behaviors and coping with feelings of sadness, fear, and pain can bring results. I have experience working with diverse populations and needs. Some common need areas include depression, anxiety, bipolar, trauma, substance use, gambling, low self-esteem, adolescent issues and early adulthood transitions. I work with ages 12 and older.
